Here’s Jay
Jay is grateful to be part of the Center's team with the mission of community wellness. Jay attended Falmouth High School, Bates College, and the Center for Emergency Medicine, Paramedic (Pittsburgh, PA). As a former collegiate squash & lacrosse player, Jay sustained many injuries.
Without yoga, Jay's successful rehabilitation from 7 of 8 surgeries would have been less likely. Mid-life, Jay was a general contractor and owner of a property management company. Jay continues his real estate law training as litigant and advocate for housing justice most Mass Courts and recently SCOTUS, see maapl.org.
During the early months of the pandemic, Jay retreated to yoga as a student most weekdays. The instructor was in training at Yoga San Kalpa/Yoga on the Vine program. Jay followed, and is a graduate of the Yoga San Kalpa/Yoga on the Vine the 50hr Yin Yoga & Yoga Nidra.
Jay seeks to share the insights of yoga, meditation, general mindfulness wellness strategies. These help him unplug distraction and have greater ease and clarity... via awareness & old pattern interruption. Jay' s classes combine ancient wisdom and recent science, emphasizing the importance of taking the physical and emotional serenity... off yoga off the mat. Jay’s classes are designed for all levels, open for drop-in, and when possible, will be tailored to address participants' areas of tension or pain. Please check with your doctor before participating in any Center classes.
